Description

In 1963, Porsche introduced the successor to the 356. At the time, it was still called the 901, but this was soon changed to 911. It was to become the most iconic sports car in history.

Over the years, several generations were produced. The first series came with a 2.0L, 6-cylinder engine, producing 130 hp. Soon this was increased to 2.2L, culminating in a 2.4L with an output of 190 hp in the S model.
The second generation – which connoisseurs call the ‘G series’ – was available from 1974 and equipped with a 2.7L engine.
That same year, Porsche also introduced the world’s first turbocharged series sports car. The 911 Turbo was born. The 3.0L, 6-cylinder engine had an output of 260 hp. This would subsequently be increased to 3,300 cc and 300 hp.

'Collection by Vermant' is happy to offer you this Porsche 911 - type 930 – Coupé, which was produced in June 1986. This is a G series unit, with its ‘matching numbers’ 3.3L, 6-cylinder engine, with an output of 300 hp.
The vehicle was delivered on 27 June 1986 in Florida, with a black chassis and a Can Can red faux leather interior. The car was equipped with a factory alarm, electric sliding roof, locking differential, a Blaupunkt radio and a ‘telescopic’ steering wheel.
In September 1992, the 930 changed hands, with 9,600 miles on the odometer, moving from Florida to Richland, Washington. The second owner kept the car until July 2000, with 24,600 miles on the odometer. The last American owner, from Kennewick, Washington, was only able to part with the car after 13 years, in May 2013. By then, the car had 42,600 miles on the odometer. The car was then exported to the Netherlands.
This magnificent Turbo, with just 44,200 miles on the odometer, is still as good as new! All the original Porsche stickers are still in the car, which comes with original booklets, toolkit, a ‘birth certificate’ and a history that guarantees the low mileage. The car will undergo servicing in our own workshop prior to its sale.
