Description

Chassis No. 9307700615

Engine No. 6770574

Transmission No. 7771246

Completed at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in April 1977, this 911 Turbo was finished in Sahara Beige over Cork leather. It was built to Swiss "C10" specification with a Blaupunkt Bamberg stereo and convex driver's and passenger's mirrors. The car was ordered by Geneva notary Didier Terrier on behalf of a client, Yousuf Rashid Boresly, which is why Boresly's name and a Kuwaiti address appear in its original service booklet.

Boresly ultimately left the car with Terrier, who registered it in Geneva in July 1977 as its first keeper, and it has remained in the city ever since. It received its first service at AMAG in Geneva at 1,192 km and was later maintained by the official Porsche agent H. Schiller. Terrier's registration was cancelled in May 1983, after which the Turbo reportedly passed to I. Bonny that June and to M. Simhon in 1985. A long run of emissions-test entries charts its use through the 1980s and 1990s. It remained with Geneva owners thereafter, including for many years Terrier's son Claude, also a notary. In 2013 it was granted Swiss veteran status.

The current Swiss caretaker acquired the car in 2021 and obtained a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. A letter from Porsche Schweiz AG confirms that engine serial no. 6770574 and transmission serial no. 7771246 are original to the chassis. A comprehensive restoration followed between 2022 and 2024, carried out by established Geneva specialists.

Recticulasses dismantled and rebuilt the engine. Its detailed invoices record crack testing and CNC truing of the cylinder sealing faces. The heads were reconditioned with new valve guides and springs, the crankshaft was polished and measured, and the connecting rods were rebushed. Reinforced case studs, new timing chains and tensioners, and a high-flow oil pump were also fitted. Garage GTA removed and refitted the engine and renewed the clutch, heater boxes, oil and fuel lines, and fuel pump. It also overhauled the injectors and refinished the car inside and out in its original colors.

Le Garnisseur of Carouge retrimmed the cabin, supplying new door panels, perforated leather for the front and rear seats, an original-pattern perforated headliner, and a complete carpet set. Further work by Électricité Autos Acacias addressed the driveshaft boots, valve covers, and fuse box, and in 2025 the transmission received new third- and fourth-gear synchronizers. In all, more than CHF 60'000 has been invested to bring the Turbo to its current condition.

Having passed its Geneva technical inspection in May 2024, with its veteran classification renewed, the car has been driven only sparingly since. It displays 112,257 kilometers at cataloging and is offered with its 1977 driver's manual, stamped service booklet, extensive invoices, and a photographic record of the restoration. With its matching-numbers drivetrain, nearly five decades in one city, and its restoration fully documented, this Sahara Beige Turbo is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner.
