The 911 SC (for Super Carrera), launched in 1978, marks a key milestone in the history of the 911. Initially intended to replace the latter, it eventually became a major commercial success thanks to its homogeneity, robustness and ease of use. With the 3.0-litre engine derived from that of the Turbo, but in an atmospheric version, the SC is both more flexible, more reliable and better suited to everyday use.
The present copy was registered for the first time in 1979. It was prepared in the spirit of the 911 RSR, with a sporty and assertive presentation. This preparation, oriented towards the passion and style of the competition-client versions of the 70s, gives it a unique character.
It is in good condition today. The mechanics were in good working order during the last test drive. The last technical inspection, on the other hand, mentions a counter-examination related to front braking, an issue to be dealt with before any intensive use.
