Imagine having the opportunity to create your own ultimate 911. For the 2018 911 GT2 RS, Porsche offered an extraordinary foundation: a 700-PS twin-turbocharged flat-six, rear-wheel drive, race-bred chassis, active aerodynamics, and extensive lightweight construction.

For select customers, the possibilities extended further. Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offered highly individualized finishes through the Paint to Sample program, while the Weissach Package took the GT2 RS's lightweight construction and motorsport focus even further. Both represented opportunities to create an even more specialized version of Porsche's ultimate 991.2 platform, and neither was an option simply available to every prospective GT2 RS customer.

Further emphasizing the car's competition-bred character was the Clubsport Package, offered at no additional cost. Designed specifically with track use in mind, it added a bolted-in titanium roll cage, six-point driver's harness, fire extinguisher, and preparation for a battery master switch. Together, the Weissach and Clubsport Packages offered two distinct approaches to bringing the GT2 RS closer to its motorsport roots: one focused on reducing weight and sharpening performance, the other on driver protection and track preparedness.

Incredibly, this particular GT2 RS boasts all three, resplendent in its PTS finish of British Racing Green, and outfitted with both the Weissach and Clubsport Packages. First seen in the late 1980s, the non-metallic green was a rare selection in the period and today offers an attractive alternative within Porsche's color palette and is the perfect match to the White Gold Metallic finish that adorns the forged magnesium alloy wheels. The interior is upholstered in purposeful Black leather / Alcantara and is equipped with numerous carbon fiber trim pieces that include door entry guards, center console trim, and door panel trim. Additional interior options include cruise control, six-point front passenger seatbelts, and Sport Chrono Package Plus among others. Functional options include the Front-axle lift system, LED headlights in black including PDLS, and SportDesign exterior mirrors with the top half in carbon fiber. Completed in April 2018 for delivery through Porsche Rotterdam, the service book reveals that this special GT2 RS has been carefully maintained within the Porsche network. Furthermore, the consignor states that it is accident-free with its original paint and perhaps most interestingly given its bevy of motorsport options, it is said to have never been piloted on a race track.

Offered at the time of cataloging with only 16,218 kilometers, this particular GT2 RS must rank among the very best to emerge from the offices of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Finished in the excellent, non-metallic PTS hue of British Racing Green, it benefits from two of the most coveted performance packages available, Clubsport and Weissach. Added to this are its limited use and status as one of the most desirable 991.2 variants to emerge from Stuttgart, making this 911 GT2 RS a truly exceptional combination of specification, condition, and provenance.
