Sofort fällt ins Auge, was den frisch modellgepflegten Porsche 911 GT3 mit Touring-Paket so anders macht: Ohne Heckflügel kommt der Touring-911er daher und besitzt stattdessen einen variablen Heckspoiler wie der 911 Carrera. Und auch die Reminiszenz an den limitierten GT3 R kommt nicht von ungefähr, immerhin kennt auch dieser keinen Spoiler.

Angetrieben wird der GT3 Touring durch einen Vierliter-Sauger, der sich bereits in GT3-Cup-Rennfahrzeugen als zuverlässig bewährt hat. 500 PS und 460 Newtonmeter wirken hier auf die Hinterachse und feuern den GT3 in 3,9 Sekunden auf 100 km/h. Von dort aus geht es weiter bis auf 316 km/h, was gerade mal 4 km/h unter der Höchstgeschwindigkeit des bespoilerten Gegenstücks liegt. (Werksangaben)
