This well executed example is quite a rare example. This very special little car was the Brain child of Peter Baily who founded Chesil. The 'Street Beetle', as it was known then, prior to it being re-christened Chesil. It is only the second 'Street Beetle' and the very first production model. It was extensively refurbished by the Chesil factory in 2002 and represents an accurate replica of a 1957 Carrera GT. It benefits from having many original parts fitted including lights, bumper trim, badges and body trim. It has covered approximately 8,000 miles on an Arnie Levics built, Porsche 914 engine. This particular unit is a 2.6 litre race prepared and rebuilt engine with an impressive list of parts including lightened and balanced con rods, cams and pistons. Full invoices and specification are included within the file. Also include
