The 356, introduced in 1948, was Porsche's first production car. Available as a coupé or convertible, the 356 is a lightweight sports car with rear-wheel drive and fine handling. Production ran through to 1965. It became a popular car for racing and rallying and had great success in many famous racing events over the years. The Porsche 356 SC is the top model of the 356; with disc brakes all around and a 95 hp 1600cc boxer engine.

This beautiful '356 SC' from the last model year was sold new in the USA. The car was imported in the Netherlands in 1992. The car was very extensively restored in 2016 by Porsche specialist Bob Hahn, to a very good condition. A very extensive report is available. It goes without saying that after the restoration, the paintwork and bodywork are in great condition. The sills, mudguards, doors, bonnet, boot lid and bumpers have a good fit. We have rarely seen a 356 this sleek and beautiful, really a top car.

The previous owner bought the car in 2007, it has been carefully maintained by Bob Hahn since the restoration including the entire fuel system, all brakes renewed, calipers and brake pads replaced and all fluids changed. The electrics were checked to ensure all items work and an electronic ignition was fitted.

This magnificent Porsche is in very good condition and the car drives perfectly. The 356 SC looks great and the engine bay has beautiful details. The car is equipped with chrome rims, a luggage rack, Michelin tyres, immobilizer, gearbox lock and a 12V connection, with inverter for charging modern mobile equipment.

It originally left the factory in 'Email blau'. It was later resprayed in classic red. The combination with the black leatherette interior is very nice.
This last 356 SC model is ready to enjoy.

The Porsche is 57 years old and exempt from Dutch periodic inspections!
