Nissan GT-R Offroad “Godzilla 2.0”
When something special isn’t quite special enough: this custom-made one-off Nissan GT-R Offroad is a proper road-going sportscar with serious ambitions to deliver on unpaved paths. Driven by an upgraded 3.8 liter 6-cylinder engine producing 600+ hp, it’s ready to eat the competition – whether it’s on- or off-road. The looks are at least as important you say? We feel you: the extreme body restyle and 12 cm larger ground clearance makes it more exclusive and raw than any other modified 4WD GT-R R35.

The Nissan GT-R Offroad is the third thorough off-road project of Classic Youngtimers Consultancy. With the completely modified Bentley Continental GT and Lamborghini Gallardo already on our CV, we used our customized off-road experience to make this GT-R even better. Starting with the exterior: the most beloved Nissan model ever built was given a different suspension with 12 centimeters extra space between the car floor and the underground. Next we added a set of huge off-road tires. To give those wheels enough space, we had to modify the wheel arches and mudguards, and gave the Nissan some serious fender flares as well. The adjustments are so extreme, it could’ve been a military vehicle. That’s exactly why the camouflage wrap on the bodywork is the perfect match for our latest weapon.

However, not only the wheel arches of this absolutely unique GT-R are suitable now for those bigger wheels. Like a genuine off-road killer, we provided the single made Nissan with a special system to carry the full-fledged spare wheel on top of the car. The custom-made roof rack looks just as rough as the terrain this Nissan GT-R is built for. Going on an adventure at night must be at least as easy since the car is equipped with a major LED light bar on the roof and a set of LED offroad lights in the front bumper as well. Both cause an enormous high-beam peak intensity, so don’t be surprised when a stealth fighter is trying to land on your custom built sportscar.

Threaten to eliminate the competition is fun. But it’s not the same as really doing it. Upgrading the technical part was the next big thing on our to-do list. We pushed the much praised straight-six engine to a higher level: from 485 all the way up to 600 hp+! That’s even more than a multiple speed record-breaking GT-R Nismo delivers… Nissan claims an acceleration time from 0-100 km/h within 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h for the most powerful street legal R35s at this moment. But none of them is quite as unique and perfectly prepared for off-road going adventures as this one-off Nissan GT-R by Classic Youngtimers Consultancy alias “Godzilla 2.0 On Wheels”.
