Description

Estimated Price: £20,000 - £25,000

  • Developed to homologate Mitsubishi's competition machinery for the Dakar Rally, the limited-production Pajero Evolution features distinctive wide-arched bodywork, uprated suspension and a 3.5-litre 6G74 MIVEC V6 producing a quoted 276bhp, driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox
  • Produced exclusively for the Japanese market, this 1999 Pajero was subsequently imported into the UK, where it was first registered in 2000. The manual is particularly uncommon, with circa 450 examples understood to have been produced from a total production run of around 2,500
  • Finished in Satellite Silver with a black cloth-trimmed interior, patterned Recaro sports seats and carbon fibre-effect trim. Further features include rare 16-inch OZ Racing rally wheels, a custom exhaust system and a Toad alarm/immobiliser
  • Having been placed in storage when the speedometer stopped working circa 2009, the Pajero has recently undergone recommissioning by JM Imports Ltd, with an invoice dated 10/02/2026 totalling £6,546. Consequently, the recorded mileage cannot be verified
  • The recommissioning work included fitting a customer-supplied timing belt kit, removing and cleaning the injectors, fitting a brand-new genuine Mitsubishi radiator, refurbishing the brakes, changing the engine, gearbox and differential oils, replacing the coolant and carrying out associated diagnostics and maintenance
  • Accompanied by invoices and MOT Certificates dating from before its period in storage, together with the recent recommissioning invoice, its genuine factory wheels and a box of spare parts
  • A rare opportunity to acquire one of Mitsubishi's most distinctive homologation specials, combining Dakar Rally heritage, the less commonly encountered manual gearbox and the benefit of significant recent recommissioning
