The MGB entered the market as a two-door sports car produced from 1962 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder sports car with soft top. Later variants such as the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupe (1965-1980), the six-cylinder sports car and coupe MGC (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupe, the MGB GT V8 (1973- 76) were launched. Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980. Sales of the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined amounted to 523,836 cars. Development of the MGB began as early as 1958 with the prototype known by the code name Abingdon; MG EX205. In structure, the car was a progressive, modern design in 1962.

This example of an MG B Roadster is from 1975. It came in a purple 'Aconite' colour. This is a lot less seen colour for an MG B. This is because the colour was only available for about 1 year (1974 - Feb 1975). This car was produced in 1975, which means it was produced in the last 2 months of when the colour was available. Apart from this, the car has a Tan interior. The centre console has a dark wood look and makes a nice combination with the brown upholstery and black dashboard. This interior is of nice quality. The chrome wire rims are in very clean condition. The car's soft-top comes in a black colour and is still of nice quality.

The MG B was first registered on Dutch plates in 1996. From this year it has always been owned by the same family. After some 25 years of family ownership, it finally went to another owner.

K&N air filters can be found under the bonnet. It has recently had a service in which, among other things, a new Bosch battery was installed. The car has some patina and is in good driving condition. The 1.8 engine therefore also runs nicely. There is a spare wheel in the boot. As mentioned earlier, it was recently serviced and had an MOT. Der MGB kam als zweitüriger Sportwagen auf den Markt, der von 1962 bis 1980 von der British Motor Corporation (BMC), der späteren Austin-Morris-Sparte von British Leyland, als Vierzylinder-Sportwagen mit Stoffverdeck produziert wurde. Spätere Varianten wie das dreitürige 2+2-Coupé MGB GT (1965-1980), der Sechszylinder-Sportwagen und das Coupé MGC (1967-1969) sowie das 2+2-Coupé mit acht Zylindern, der MGB GT V8 (1973-76), wurden eingeführt. Der MGB, der 1962 den MGA ablöste, und seine Varianten wurden bis 1980 produziert. Der Absatz des MGB, MGC und MGB GT V8 belief sich auf insgesamt 523.836 Fahrzeuge. Die Entwicklung des MGB begann bereits 1958 mit dem Prototyp, der unter dem Codenamen Abingdon (MG EX205) bekannt war. Von der Struktur her war der Wagen 1962 ein fortschrittliches, modernes Design.

Dieses Beispiel eines MG B Roadsters stammt aus dem Jahr 1975. Es wurde in der violetten Farbe 'Aconite' geliefert. Dies ist eine sehr seltene Farbe für einen MG B. Dies liegt daran, dass diese Farbe nur für etwa 1 Jahr (1974 - Feb 1975) erhältlich war. Dieses Auto wurde 1975 produziert, was bedeutet, dass es in den letzten 2 Monaten produziert wurde, in denen die Farbe verfügbar war. Abgesehen davon ist das Auto mit einem Tan-Interieur ausgestattet. Die Mittelkonsole hat eine dunkle Holzoptik und bildet eine schöne Kombination mit den braunen Polstern und dem schwarzen Armaturenbrett. Diese Einrichtung ist von guter Qualität. Die Chromdrahtfelgen sind in sehr sauberem Zustand. Das Verdeck des Wagens ist schwarz und von guter Qualität.

Der MG B wurde 1996 erstmals mit niederländischen Kennzeichen zugelassen. Seit diesem Jahr ist es immer im Besitz derselben Familie gewesen. Nach rund 25 Jahren im Familienbesitz ging es schließlich an einen anderen Eigentümer über.

Unter der Motorhaube befinden sich K&N-Luftfilter. Es wurde vor kurzem einer Wartung unterzogen, bei der u. a. eine neue Bosch-Batterie eingebaut wurde. Das Auto hat etwas Patina und ist in einem guten Fahrzustand. Der 1.8-Motor läuft also auch gut. Im Kofferraum befindet sich ein Ersatzrad. Wie bereits erwähnt, wurde er kürzlich gewartet und hatte einen TÜV. Was die Dokumentation betrifft, so sind verschiedene Rechnungen und Inspektionen vorhanden.
