Description

"The Mercedes-Benz R107 was produced from 1971 through to 1989, being the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz after the G-Class. The SL improved through the years with technical innovation but still managed to keep its fundamental character and identity of an up-market, quality sports car. Volume production of the first SL started in April 1971 alongside the last of the W113 cars. The genius soft top mechanism which folds down out of sight under a panel ahead of the boot lid gave the car a beautifully sleek, uncluttered appearance.
This handsome roadster was originally registered on 16th October 1984 and presents extremely well in metallic gold with a beige interior. Offered with a factory hardtop this iconic Mercedes has an impressive MoT test history, a well stamped service book and a file containing various bills and receipts for works completed. A V5C registration document is included together with the current MoT test certificate which is valid until August 2021. Recent values for R107 models have steadily risen making B151 FOG ideal for both driving fun and potential investment.
