Vehicle History
The Mercedes Ponton 220S convertible from 1959 offered at the National Stadium Auction is certainly one of the most interesting cars in this body type currently on the market. It was imported to Poland over 14 years ago, since its first historic vehicle conservator‘s opinion was issued in September 2001. Back then the vehicle had a blue soft top and a beige interior. During the last few years the Mercedes was restored from ground-up by one of the most renown workshops on the market. This car is almost like new and the quality of interior restoration is truly outstanding. Wooden panels as well as chromed interior parts look fantastic. The body was repainted in two tones – blue with beige. This Mercedes is registered as a historic vehicle in Poland. Collectors will appreciate the high level of restoration of this vehicle.
