One of only 500 built
- 39,040 km from new
- Very enjoyable to drive
At the 1990 Geneva show Mercedes-Benz unveiled the successor to their first Evolution series, the Evo II. It had a bigger rear spoiler and wider wheel arches. Only 500 examples were built fitted with an engine producing 235 hp reaching a 250km/h top speed for the street version and 300km/h for the race version.
The car on offer left the Mercedes-Benz Bremen production line on the 12 July 1990 in anthracite livery with black leather interior. The first registration took place on the 17 August 1990 in the Italian part of Switzerland. The Swiss pollution document (fiche d'entretien du système antipollution) displays the mileage every year between 1990 and 2002 when the odometer showed 37,659 km. The car is sold in 2002 to a Dutch collector. The car is hardly used much and carefully looked after. The next service in book stamp is from December 2013 when the car had 38,885 kms on the clock.
This Mercedes-Benz 190 Evo II, certainly a collector since day one, is in very nice condition and particularly desirable with only 39,040 km from new.
