Virtually every offering of the Lancia Company, from the days of Vincenzo Lancia to the Fiat takeover in modern times, exemplified interesting and unconventional engineering clothed with the best of avant-garde coachwork. The Fulvia series of the 60s and early 70s exemplify this perfectly; the design brief to create a front wheel drive platform with completely neutral handling characteristics was fully realised. All the versions of the body, saloon and coupe were well balanced and light in appearance, but undoubtedly the most exotic of the road going versions was the Zagato Coupe.
The example we are proud to offer today is a 1.3 S dating from 1972. The car has been comprehensively restored: the engine sports high compression pistons and a high lift cam and re-jetted solex carburettors, amongst a wealth of mechanical works carrie
