Description

Rare early Lamborghini model from 1956
One of approximately 60 examples built
Original two-cylinder engine with Bosch fuel injection
Meticulously restored at a cost of more than €30,000
FLC® certified and carrying an FLC® seal on the engine
Before Lamborghini achieved worldwide fame with its high-performance supercars, the company produced robust and reliable tractors. The DL 25 is a fine example of this early period. With its water-cooled engine and four-speed gearbox, it was considered thoroughly modern machinery in its day.
This 1956 Lamborghini DL 25 is a genuine rarity for collectors of historic tractors, with only around 60 examples produced. As one of the first models powered by an engine developed by Ferruccio Lamborghini’s own company, it represents the beginnings of a success story that would eventually lead to some of the world’s most legendary supercars.
The Lamborghini is presented in excellent condition and has been carefully restored. Both the original two-cylinder engine with Bosch fuel injection and the characteristic red and grey colour scheme have been retained. Its FLC® certification confirms the authenticity and historical significance of the tractor. Meeting the strict FLC® requirements for originality of detail resulted in restoration costs of more than €30,000. After successfully completing the certification process, the Lamborghini was sealed, with the FLC® seal located on the engine.
This DL 25 is therefore far more than simply a piece of agricultural machinery. It is a tangible reminder of the era in which Ferruccio Lamborghini laid the foundations for his later industrial empire. Its robust chassis, 1.7-litre two-cylinder engine producing 26 hp and straightforward operation make it a particularly engaging piece of living Lamborghini history.
