The Revuelto is the successor to the Aventador and the first Lamborghini with a hybrid drivetrain. The 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 produces 825 ps at 9,250 rpm and was rotated 180 degrees for the Revuelto, enabling a completely new exhaust system, a revised intake configuration and a dry sump lubrication system. Three electric motors bring combined output to 1,015 ps. Two electric motors on the front axle handle torque vectoring and electric drive, while the third at the rear acts as starter motor and generator. The carbon fibre monocoque is extended with a front structure in Forged Composites, 9 kg lighter than the Aventador front frame.

Fun fact: the V12 is entirely new and not derived from the Aventador engine. Lamborghini rotated it 180 degrees and mounted the gearbox transversally behind the engine, allowing the electric motor to be integrated directly into the drivetrain.

De Revuelto is de opvolger van de Aventador en de eerste Lamborghini met een hybride aandrijflijn. De 6,5 liter atmosferische V12 levert 825 pk bij 9.250 toeren en werd voor de Revuelto 180 graden gedraaid, wat een volledig nieuw uitlaatsysteem, een nieuwe inlaatconfiguratie en een droge oliesysteem mogelijk maakte. Drie elektromotoren brengen het gecombineerd vermogen op 1.015 pk. Twee elektromotoren op de vooras zorgen voor koppelvectoring en elektrische aandrijving, de derde achteraan fungeert als startmotor en generator. De koolstofvezel monocoque is uitgebreid met een voorstructuur in Forged Composites, 9 kg lichter dan de Aventador voorframe. De actieve achtervleugel heeft drie standen en past zich automatisch aan op rijmodus.

Leuk detail: de V12 is volledig nieuw en niet afgeleid van de Aventador motor. Lamborghini draaide hem 180 graden en monteerde de versnellingsbak dwars achter de motor, zodat de elektromotor rechtstreeks in de aandrijflijn geïntegreerd kon worden.

Anecdote: le V12 est entièrement nouveau et ne dérive pas du moteur de l'Aventador. Lamborghini l'a pivoté de 180 degrés et a monté la boîte de vitesses transversalement derrière le moteur, permettant d'intégrer le moteur électrique directement dans la chaîne cinématique.
