Description

The Jensen Interceptor III is the final and most refined evolution of Jensen's hand-built British grand tourer. Produced from 1971-1976, it combines elegant Touring-designed Italian styling with Chrysler's powerful 7.2 litre (440ci) V8, TorqueFlite automatic transmission, air conditioning and distinctive GKN alloy wheels.

We are delighted to offer this exceptional example, finished in its striking factory Cerise with a contrasting interior. Originally supplied as a factory demonstrator, it was specified with desirable extras including duo-tone paint, eight-track player, quartz iodine fog lamps, louvered bonnet, rear seat belts, sheepskin seat inserts and coachline. Beautifully maintained throughout its life, this Interceptor is accompanied by an extensive history file containing service records, restoration invoices, workshop manuals, handbooks, owner's club magazines and period articles. It has also benefited from sensible upgrades including an electronic overdrive and upgraded alternator. Further enhancing its distinctive appearance are a Webasto-style sunroof, vinyl roof and lambswool seat centres. A well-known and cherished car within Jensen circles, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a superbly presented Interceptor III with outstanding provenance and undeniable 1970s character.
