Description
The Jensen Interceptor was a uniquely British, and super-cool take on the typical GT car of the late 1960s.
Clothed in a beautiful Italian body and powered by US V8 muscle, this was a car capable of trading punches with the cream of the supercar crop.
Roll forward 60 years, and the beauty of the Jensen Interceptor has continued to gather admiration and Kudos.
JIA’s passion for the Interceptor has created a modern interpretation of this elegant, purposeful GT.
Stripped on a rotisserie, subtly restyled to look oven more powerful, the JIA Interceptor R is more than skin deep.
Revised suspension and steering geometry, bespoke independent rear suspension, much needed even with a Limited slip differential, in getting the power through the wheels and onto the black stuff, as the V8 engine unleashes 430 BHP and instant torque from its 6.2 litre V8 engine.
The six speed electronically controlled automatic gearbox, gives a range of ratios, to compliment the engines broad power range, and delivers around 25mpg on a run.
This JIA Interceptor R was built for the then owner of JIA International. Then sold to its current owner, the car has covered 6650 miles since its conversion from an original MK3 Interceptor convertible.
The car has been featured in various publications, including a television appearance on Top Gear and The Grand Tour.
The car will come serviced and with 12 months MOT
