The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 was conceived as the most focused and exclusive derivative of the F-Type, taking inspiration from Jaguar’s seven victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. First shown in concept form at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Project 7 entered limited production through Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division, with just 250 examples built for customers worldwide.

Based on the F-Type R, the Project 7 is powered by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8, producing 575PS and 680Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed Quickshift automatic transmission. Extensive use of aluminium and carbon fibre reduced weight by approximately 80kg compared with the contemporary F-Type V8 S Convertible, while revised suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, an active electronic differential and increased aerodynamic downforce created a significantly more focused driving experience. Performance was equally impressive, with 0–60mph achieved in a claimed 3.8 seconds and a limited top speed of 186mph. Its distinctive single-seat-style rear fairing, shortened windscreen and removable fabric roof also paid homage to the legendary Jaguar D-Type.

This particular Project 7 was supplied new in January 2016 through Jaguar Hasselt in Belgium. A left-hand-drive example, it is finished in striking Ultra Blue Metallic over a Jet Black leather interior, one of the colour combinations most closely associated with the model.

Having covered just 280 miles from new, this exceptional Project 7 remains an extraordinarily low-mileage example of one of the rarest and most distinctive modern Jaguars.
