The Jaguar E-type (also called Jaguar XK-E) is coveted and adored by many. Jaguar Cars has built 3 generations of this iconic model, Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3.

We have been able to include in our offer a genuine and now rare Jaguar E-type 4.2 'Series 2' Fixed-Head Coupe (FHC). This E-type has been cherished as a 'time machine' and has undergone various technical and optical improvements, below is a summary of the work carried out over time;
* Complete engine overhaul (proof available)
* Overhaul carburettors
* Overhaul gearbox
* Revision swingarm
* Complete overhaul braking system
* Various sheet metal (last check in 2019 where all tubes, hollow spaces, wheel arches and bottom plate are
inspected and provided with a waxoyl treatment).
* Paintwork resprayed
* Interior: completely original but handled by a professional with new fabric parts

The body is completely rust free and the original "opalescent dark green" color is combined with a beautiful green interior. This Jaguar E-type is owned by the 2nd Dutch owner who bought the Jaguar in 2017. The first Dutch owner imported the car in 1976 from the first American owner. The current owner has made two non-original adjustments: electronic ignition and the installation of so-called “Jaguar-approved covered headlights”. Both adjustments are an asset to the car but also easy to undo. Original parts for it are present.

It can only be concluded that this copy is in excellent condition. The service history of recent years is known and documented with the help of various invoices and photos.

This fine Jaguar E-type is powered by the beautiful 4.2 liter Jaguar straight-six engine, a smooth and powerful engine with a fairly economical fuel consumption. The car comes with all original books and papers, the original workshop manual, grease card and other memorabilia.

Of the 78,733 Jaguar E-type models produced worldwide, 9,548 Fixed-Head Coupe (FHC) Series 2 were made. We dare to say that there is currently no better copy to be found!
