Subject to a ground-up nut and bolt restoration in 2016 over the course of 12 months with work carried out by XK Classics in London, the final result is magnificent. With superb attention to detail, the body was professionally repainted in itsoriginalCarmen Red and re-trimmed with a beautifully finished Biscuit leather interior. Pleasingly, it appears the E-Type retains its original engine block and cylinder-head with both numbers corresponding to the Heritage Certificate. Restored with superb attention to detail to mostly original specification with a few sensible updates such as Coopercraft front and rear brakes. Today the car presents very nicely and is accompanied by a history file containing a wealth of invoices for parts supplied by specialists such as SNG Barratt, old MOT Certificates, a current V5 and the current MOT valid to 30 June 2021.In summary, this isa fabulous Series 1 E-Type which seems to tick all the boxes, well restored, UK-supplied, right-hand drive, numbers matching, original colour and correctly stored since restoration. Offered at a realistic guide, with restoration costs far exceeding the upper estimate, this isa great opportunity. S1https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MccBogSuETs&tfalse
