Description

This car was commissioned in 2015 and built from scratch by Ric Wood Motorsport to period Group 1.5 Specification - as per the BTCC and Spa 24hr rules. As with all of Ric's builds, the car was built using a spotless, bare-metal shell, incorporating his top specification parts, most importantly his in-house c.300bhp Essex V6.

Seam-welded bodyshell with welded-in FIA roll cage
Group 1 specification Essex V6 engine by Ric Wood
Correct Group 1 gearbox with quick shifter
Correct Group 1 Atlas rear axle (choice of ratios)
Suspension to full-race Group 1 specification

It comes complete with spares list including, wheels, Atlas rear axle complete with 3.09:1 ratio and crown wheel & pinion, spare 98db silenced exhaust system, Proflex suspension service kit.

This highly competitive Capri has raced in Peter Auto HTC, Legends HTCC Tony Dron Trophy and Goodwood Members Meeting's Gerry Marshall Trophy, where it is a potential winner - as proven by Jake Hill in Ric Wood's Capri this year.
