Fiat Dino Spider 2.0 1967 – Rare “Blu Francia” – Superb condition – Complete history – 12-month warranty

This first-series Fiat Dino Spider 2.0 (#00218) was delivered new in Italy in February 1967 in the beautiful Blu Francia color. It is one of the very first and rare models sold (no. 218) featuring the vinyl and aluminum dashboard.

It retains its original engine block (matching numbers) and original color.

The car went to California in the 1980s before being repatriated to the Netherlands in 1993 by JW Franken (head of the Dino registry for the Netherlands). He kept the car until 2012, when it was purchased by the current owner.

It is worth noting the particularly meticulous care the car has received for the past 30 years. Numerous works have been carried out by Dutch and later French specialists in the restoration of this model. A file of invoices accompanies the car.

* 1994: Suspension and brakes replaced
* 1996: Original 2.0L V6 engine fully rebuilt, including new pistons and camshafts, electronic ignition, large radiator (from 2.4L), new oil pump and water pump, clutch, unleaded-compatible valves and cylinder heads. Around 20,000 km have been covered since this restoration.
* 1999/2000: Car repainted and wheels fully restored by Italian specialist Autoclassica Tito Rubio
* 2001: Interior fully redone
* 2002: Differential overhauled
* 2007: Transmission rebuilt with new synchros
* 2011: Bumpers re-chromed

The current owner has continued to maintain the car carefully, keeping track of mileage (currently 26,500 km):

* 2012 (21,000 km): General service
* 2013 (21,782 km): Valve adjustment, replacement of fuel hoses
* 2014 (22,784 km): Routine maintenance, alternator overhaul, oil temperature sensor replaced
* 2016 (24,326 km): Routine maintenance, replacement of steering column bearings, two new XWX tires fitted
* 2021 (25,138 km): Routine maintenance, replacement of spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, and windshield washer kit
* 2023 (25,816 km): Routine maintenance, new fuel tank, new fuel pump, new filters and hoses, carburetors disassembled, cleaned, and adjusted, new spark plugs, crankshaft seal replaced, new front shock absorbers, new stabilizer bar bushings
* 2025: Routine maintenance and technical inspection passed for the sale (no remarks)

This Fiat Dino Spider is presented in superb overall condition and in a rare color combination. Authentic and faithful to its original specification, it is very difficult to find an example of such quality.
