Description
Launched in 2002, the Ferrari 575M (Modificata) was, as the name suggests, an evolution/modification of the acclaimed 550 Maranello.
Under the hood, the iconic naturally aspirated V12 engine remained, now with 5748 cc and 540 hp! Enough power to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/h!
The 575 Superamerica, produced between 2005 and 2006 and limited to 559 units, maintains all these credentials, but increases exclusivity thanks to the innovative rotating electrochromatic glass roof.
The work of Pininfarina's chief designer, Leonardo Fioravanti, creator of the legendary 365 GTB Daytona, it was the first roof of its kind installed on a production car and was constructed with an integrated carbon fiber structure that rotates 180 degrees and rests on the trunk. The glass's transparency can be adjusted from inside the cabin to transmit varying amounts of light.
This 575 Superamerica was delivered to its first owner at Ferrari dealer HR Owen in London in August 2005. Imported from England in 2007, it now has 18,000 km and is in very good condition.
Configured in Grigio Silverstone, it benefits from the optional HGTE package, which, among other components, adds the indispensable carbon-ceramic brakes and sports exhaust. It it has full service history and is delivered with all original accessories, including a tool kit and tonneau cover.
