Description

"The Ferrari 575M Maranello is a two-seat, two door, grand tourer which was launched in 2002, it is essentially an updated 550 Maranello featuring minor styling changes from Pininfarina. The 575M was replaced by the 599 GTB in the first half of 2006. Updates from the 550, included a renewed interior, but with substantial improvements mechanically, including bigger brake discs, a larger and more powerful engine, improved weight distribution, refined aerodynamics and fluid dynamics along with an adaptive suspension set-up (the four independent suspensions are also controlled by the gearbox, to minimise pitch throughout the 200 milliseconds shift time). Two six-speed transmissions were available, a conventional manual gearbox and for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli's semi-automatic (Electrohydraulic manual) 'F1' gearbox. The 575 model number refers to total engine displacement in litres, whilst the 'M' is an abbreviation of modificato ('modified').This Ferrari 575M with the optional F1 gearbox is in lovely condition and is presented in Nero Daytona Black with Cream leather interior. This is an extremely low mileage example, it was first registered in Germany in 2002 and is now showing just over 43,000km or 27,415 miles. Our vendor, the third owner, who works in banking has owned the car since 2011, he purchased the car from Al Tayer Ferrari while working in the UAE. The previous owner was a wealthy Emirati who collected Ferrari's, he purchased the car from a business associate and the first owner that purchased and imported the car from Germany with full European specification. During our owners stewardship, he has covered the majority of the mileage and imported the car in 2017 when his work took him to the UK. Since 2017, the car has done minimal mileage as the owner confesses it is just not practical to own such a car when living in Canary Wharf or as he fondly refers to it as 'the concrete jungle', thus it has been garaged and used sparingly.
A well maintained example, last serviced at 42,695 kilometres and contained within the history file is a comprehensive collection of maintenance invoices detailing the care of ownership coupled with UK V5 registration document and the original import documentation. This is a very well-priced, striking example of Ferrari's highly accomplished 575M in excellent condition offered without reserve.Guide Price £55,000 - £65,000
*Due to time constraints the MoT certificate will be issued post auction at a cost to the vendor and the vehicle can be collected from our offices in Iver, Buckinghamshire shortly after. "
