Description

Estimated Price: £50,000 - £60,000

  • The 365 GT4 2+2 was a luxury grand tourer that represented a major stylistic departure for Maranello initiating a lineage of angular four-seater Ferraris that lasted for 17 years through the 400 and 412 Series
  • Powered by a 4.4-litre, naturally-aspirated V12 generating 340bhp fed through a five-speed, open gated manual gearbox and offering 0-60 in 6.4 seconds and 155mph
  • This car was ordered in late 1973 for delivery to the UK, via importer Maranello Concessionaires and its partner dealership, HR Owen of London, as one of just 94 examples
  • As verified by copies of the car’s original factory order paperwork (available to view on file), it was originally finished in Grigio Argento over a dark blue interior
  • Previous UK ownership is on file, and records indicate that the car was sold at auction in 1997 and described as being black with a magnolia leather interior
  • It was later taken to Greece, where it formed part of the Hellenic Motor Museum in Athens before returning to the UK in 2024 to be registered here once again
  • Naturally, after a period on static display, the car required recommissioning and the work was carried out by noted specialists GTO Engineering
  • Presented to auction with 4,470 miles, a detailed history file with early ownership records and an opportunity to own a front-engined 1970s Ferrari V12 at a reasonable estimate
