The Ferrari 365 GT4 BB marked a major turning point in Ferrari history.

Introduced in 1973 as the successor to the legendary Daytona, it became Ferrari’s first production 12-cylinder road car with its engine mounted behind the driver.
Designed by Pininfarina and powered by a 4.4-litre flat-12 producing approximately 380 hp, it established the architecture that would define Ferrari’s flagship Berlinettas for the following two decades.

With only 387 examples produced, the 365 GT4 BB is the rarest of the road-going Berlinetta Boxer series and remains one of the most significant yet underrated Ferraris of the 1970s.

This particular example was built in 1973 and is the 17th 365 GT4 BB produced, making it a particularly early example (and very different on many points to the latest cars).

Finished in red over a black leather interior, it was delivered new in Milan through the Crepaldi dealership and remained in Italy until 2025.

In 2016, the car benefited from an extensive engine overhaul carried out by renowned Ferrari specialist Bonini, while its interior was also retrimmed.

Showing 86,100 km from new, retaining its matching-numbers engine and gearbox and presenting today in excellent condition, this early-production 365 GT4 BB combines strong Italian provenance, rarity and the historical importance of one of Ferrari’s most influential road cars.
