Description
An unusual and rare example of a truly iconic Ferrari: a UK Supplied Ferrari 246 GT Dino, subsequently fitted with flared wheel arches and Daytona ‘chairs’, along with the wider Cromodora alloy wheels. Our car was delivered new to the United Kingdom. The car is finished in the classic Rosso red, with Beige Daytona seats.
Named to honour Alfredo ‘Dino’ Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari’s son and heir, the Dino marque was launched in 1968 specifically to take on the Porsche 911 series in the showrooms, its daring, for the time, mid-engine layout being more associated with sports racing cars than production cars.
Originally supplied in Dark Blue, with Beige, our Dino remained as such until @2001-2002, when it underwent an in depth restoration and conversion to Chairs & Flares specification, by the renowned Ferrari specialist Foskers. Accompanying our car is a wonderful history file, with many receipts & invoices, along with photographs of the car.
A really nice example of a rare 246 GT Dino, offering great value in today’s market, for a super rare car.
