Description
1930 Citroën AC4 Commercial Torpedo
Chassis No. 105.009
Beautiful restoration
Legendary model
Collector’s registration certificate
The Citroën C4 was originally called the AC4, in reference to André Citroën 4, to distinguish it from the 1925 C4, which was never produced. The letter A was soon dropped, and ultimately only the C4 designation remained.
It was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1928 to replace the aging B14, whose export sales were plummeting.
Citroën designed a more powerful, more comfortable vehicle, very much in line with American standards, which were a huge hit in every country.
The example we are presenting here is a 1930 Torpédo Commercial. It was fully restored in the 2010s. Brought back to working order and serviced in 2024 following its acquisition, this Torpedo is a beautiful example, now rare in this condition.
