Description
1991 BMW Z1
French title
Chassis n° WBABA91020AL05080
- First model from the Z roadster family
- Manuals, logbook, and windproof net
- An endearing, fun sportster
In 1987, BMW launched a very innovative, small two-seater roadster with retractable doors, the Z1, of which just 8,000 were made. The one on offer was registered on 19 July 1991, and delivered new in Italy to the BMW C.A.R. in Ragusa, Sicily. They kept the vehicle, and put it on display in their showroom for 25 years, running it occasionally. This Z1 sports a pretty red "Top Rot" bodywork combined with a dark grey leather/nubuck interior with a "camouflage" pattern. Its odometer was replaced in the past, as shown in the maintenance booklet, and the vehicle now totals just over 10,500 km since new, which explains its good condition. When its current owner acquired it in June 2016, the car was still in Italy at the time, still at the same BMW dealership, and with its original tires, guarantee of the low mileage. In addition to routine maintenance, it has benefited from the replacement of the timing belt. The four tires were replaced in 2016 and have covered only 4000km since. This example also has an anti-eddy net, as well as its duplicate keys, all its manuals and maintenance book. A 100 percent fun car, with a unique design, this little roadster is a joy to drive and a pleasure to look at. This low mileage example is a great opportunity offered without reserve.
