The BMW M8 Competition is the most powerful car ever to come out of the M division's stables – with 625 hp and 750 Nm, it's a grand tourer made to go far...and fast!

The engine is the same 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 used in the BMW M5 and is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

Driving pleasure is one of the most important ingredients of the M division, so the M8's chassis and handling are highly configurable, with the driver having access to several driving modes – Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual. The all-wheel-drive Sisetam Xdrive reduces power losses, but if you're feeling brave, you can adjust the power distribution and channel all 625 hp to the rear wheels!

Despite its ballistic performance, this Gran Coupé hides a dual personality. Thanks to its luxury, comfort, and equipment, it manages to be almost as refined as a 7 Series. In terms of comfort, technology, and active and passive safety, nothing is left out—the entire BMW equipment menu is present!
