BMW renewed its luxurious 6 Series with the launch of a new generation for the 2012 model year, the first cars seen on the road by the end of 2011. Naturally, BMW soon introduced “M” versions, with the M6 made in convertible, coupé, or four-door Gran Coupé body styles and in production from 2012 until 2019. Flying the flag for the manufacturer’s performance division, the M6 Coupé gained a carbon fibre roof, Merino leather upholstery, and distinguishing M styling. It was powered by a 4.4-litre, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine producing some 560 PS; most were made with the dual-clutch transmission, as opposed to the rarer six-speed manual only found in selected countries.
This example was built to the internally coded “F13” coupé style and was finished by the Dingolfing factory in Alpine White with an Opal White full Merino leather interior. Featuring the M6-specific head-up display, the car was configured with other optional extras including double-spoke “M” wheels and anthracite-coloured Alcantara headliner.
The BMW was delivered to its native Germany, where it has been retained as the personal car of the head of the Autohaus Kühnert BMW main dealer chain, and has covered just 7,394 kilometres from new. The M6 was serviced by the dealer in September 2026.
