Description

"M3 derivatives are developed by BMW’s in-house motorsport division, where BMW have continued to build impressive racing credentials. The M3 saloon was upgraded from 2,990cc (282bhp) in November 1995 to 3,201cc delivering 317bhp, plus a new six-speed manual gearbox along with other more minor upgrades. Popular amongst circuit competition drivers, the E36 is widely considered as one of the best handling cars of the 1990s.
This superb example is presented in metallic Cosmos Black with exclusive Nappa leather and comes with its original (working) Sony radio cassette with six CD player. Mercifully devoid of big (or small) boot spoilers, front splitters and other associated accessories, this car is absolutely as it left the factory. There were only ever 694 M3 Evo saloons built for the UK market and they are generally regarded the best driving of all the E36 M3's, certainly they were the only ones ever to be raced, partly due to a stiffer bodyshell. The car comes with full, mainly BMW, service history including the all important running in service. It has just had some £3000 worth of servicing work in the shape of discs, pads and tyres all round, new clutch (because of a noisy release bearing, the owner still has the original clutch date stamped 1996), differential oil seal, full Inspection 2 with differential and gearbox oil renewed, coolant and brake fluid changes, strut top mounts, air conditioning service and new wiper blades. This is a wonderful example, in great all round condition and probably one of the best on the market today."
