EXTERIOR
Finished in a beautiful shade of Mineral White Metallic the bodywork this M3 Competition positively shimmers under our studio lights. The paintwork is in excellent condition, with no visible marks, and after detailing glimmers like it has just rolled off the assembly line. Large grilles, bonnet bulges and vents, deep side skirts and twin exhausts all make up this V8 edition of BMW’s iconic M3 pedigree first introduced back in the 80s.

The Competition Package, sometimes known as ZCP version was released in 2010. The changes related to the suspension and electronic stability control and consisted of, ride height lowered by 10mm, revised tuning of the variable dampers (Electronic Damping Control) and 19 inch multi spoke alloy wheels.

INTERIOR
The cabin is finished with a anthracite headliner and an elegant contrast Fox Red leather, beautifully trimmed and remaining in fantastic condition. The seats show no real signs of wear, with no sagging evident and the bolsters still in good order. Carbon inserts on the door cards and centre console provide a subtle contrast to the interior, hinting to the performance potential of the car.

With heated electric memory seats, cruise control, USB and phone connectivity, professional navigation and climate control provide all the comforts of a grand-tourer. The programmable M button transforms the car into a formidable driving machine allowing pre-programming of the EDC, DCT and traction control settings whilst tightening throttle response.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The high revving V8 engine barks into life with a purposeful roar and settles to a meaningful idle after the warm up phase.

The 7 speed DCT gearbox is superb and a huge step on from BMW’s previous SMG setup providing both smooth fully automatic function or manual changes – paddle shifts and lightning quick up or down shifts (with throttle blip matching revs) are both satisfying and highly addictive!

Maintenance has been carried out solely by BMW Main dealers from new with the running in service within manufacture tolerances.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The silver 19 inch multi spoke Comp wheels look fantastic and remain in perfect condition wrapped in premium Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber all round.

The brake discs still have many miles left in them, with no evidence of lipping, as do the pads which show very little wear.

This pristine E92 LCI Competition was first registered by Lloyd Blackpool in September of 2011. The car has never left the main dealer network and has exceptional provenance;
