Since its founding in 1919 by W.O. Bentley, the Bentley Motors marque has stood for unrivalled luxury, refined performance and an aristocratic air. Bentley built cars that were not only breathtakingly beautiful but also formidably powerful, cars that could seduce kings and racing drivers alike.

After the merger with Rolls-Royce in the 1930s, Bentley stayed true to its sporting roots, with models that married elegance to sheer driving dynamics. Through the 1950s and 1960s, Bentley grew into the marque of choice for the connoisseur who wanted the best of both worlds: the serenity of a Rolls-Royce, with the soul of a gentleman racer.

The Bentley S2 Continental represents an absolute high point of the golden age of British automotive artistry. Introduced in 1959 as successor to the S1, the S2 was the first Bentley with a mighty aluminium 6.2-litre V8 engine, a masterpiece that delivered effortless suppleness and silent strength.

This special Continental specification was produced by only a handful of the most prestigious coachbuilders, among them the legendary H.J. Mulliner & Co. in London. Each example was built by hand, a bespoke suit on wheels, tailored to the wishes of a very select circle. The Mulliner variants were renowned for their streamlined coachwork, lightweight bodies and timeless proportions that command admiration even today.
