Description
The Arnage, presented in 1998, was the first all new design since the Mulsanne which had been first shown in 1980. The Green Label was considered the -not very popular- entry model and, with its 4.4 litre bi- turbo V8 based on the BMW M62, delivering 354 hp, was produced only until 2001. Most customers choose the Red Label with the well-known 6.75 litre turbo V8 and 405 hp. Despite the new prize exceeding 335’000 francs, between 2000 and 2002 1’521 Red Label with left hand drive could be sold. Our example was delivered by Bentley Milano to an Italian gentleman on the 20th of June 2002 in the elegant combination Silver Pearl with a grey Connolly leather interior and the optional sliding roof. He was very fond of his noble Brit and when moving to Switzerland in 2014 he took the Bentley with him. The Arnage was frequently used and, as shown in the documentation provided, always well maintained. In June 2023 the Bentley, within 138’000 kilometres on the clock, was de-registered and taken over by a dealer. He equipped the Arnage with four new tyres, 2 new batteries as well as new brake discs and pads front and rear. Since then, the car has been driven sparingly on dealer plates only. With only one recorded owner 139’650 kilometres covered and a full service booklet, the Bentley is in very good and well maintained original condition. The last MOT was completed in January 2025 allowing a new owner to enjoy classic British luxury immediately.
