Description

Estimated Price: £10,000 - £15,000

  • First introduced by BMC on 20/05/1958 at Monte Carlo as an affordable, fun sports car designed by the Donald Healey Motor Company, designed to keep costs low (£669 at launch) by using a mildly tuned A-Series engine and components shared across other BMC models
  • PSK 152 is a 1962 UK, right-hand drive example that underwent the most phenomenal restoration by Nick Sawyer between 2015-2017 with enough documentation and parts to fill the boot of the car
  • According to the Heritage Certificate, the car was originally a Highway Yellow example that has been changed to Berlieze Green as part of the restoration but retaining the black interior
  • The car came second in the 2018 Spridget 60th Anniversary Pride of Ownership following its no expense spared restoration with photographic documentation of the restoration and numerous invoices
  • Original driver’s handbook, two catalogues of parts and a tax disc from 1963
  • The original 998cc engine has been replaced with a 1,098cc version, modified to run on unleaded, as well as the addition of front disc brakes. The engine was rebuilt prior to installation with new carbs, wiring loom, points, plugs and HT leads
  • In summary, this is an extremely pretty example both on top and underneath, perfectly on the button and ready to enjoy some late summer motoring!
