Description

Estimated Price: £25,000 - £30,000

  • The 3000 Mk III was launched in October 1963 and remained in production until the end of 1967 when production of all Austin-Healeys ceased
  • Classified as the BJ8, the new model was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys with a Walnut veneered dash, wind-up windows and 150bhp. Improvements to the engine included a revised camshaft, valve springs, and twin SU HD8 carburettors together with a redesigned exhaust system and servo-assisted brakes
  • Finished in Colorado Red over a black leather interior with matching black hood and sits on chrome wire wheels
  • In current ownership since 2006, it was subject to a full ground up restoration by Graham Goodall in early 2000s
  • Supplied with its BMIT Certificate, original 'buff' logbook and invoices including a clutch slave and master cylinder replacement in April 2025
  • In very good condition all round, this rare Phase 1 would make an ideal introduction into the friendly world of the 'Big Healey'
