The Austin-Healey 3000 was the successor to the 100-6 and was built from 1959 to 1967.
The 2.6 liter 6 cylinder was replaced by a 3 liter (2912 cc), the drum brakes at the front were replaced by disc brakes. The Austin-Healey model range consisted of 3 models produced, production of which ended in 1967. Think of the 2+2 (BT7) and the two-seater (BN7). A total of 13650 units of the MKI (1959 – 1961) were sold, of which 10825 2+2s (BT7) and 2,825 BN7 open two-seaters.

Our 'Big Healey' was registered in December 1959 and is therefore one of the very first copies to roll off the production line. The previous owners have been careful with the Austin Healey, judging by the fact that the car has never been restored and still looks beautiful and has only been repainted once. Step in and imagine yourself 63 years back in time, the interior and dashboard are in original condition, the leather is supple and the counters work properly.

The Austin-Healey is equipped with new Firestone tires that are on the original spoked rims, a wonderful example that has been preserved, even the hard top is still present.

Under the hood is the beautiful 6-cylinder in-line that releases to the rear wheels via the manual four-speed gearbox with overdriven 126 HP. The engine number matches the construction data of Austin Healey and can only be the original and therefore 'matching numbers' engine. The engine is even equipped with the original SU HD6 carburettors.
