This lovely and original Aston Martin V8 Saloon ‘Oscar India Series 4’ was delivered new through Aston Martin importer HAI in Rijnsburg, NL. Just around the corner from us.

The car is finished as ordered in Old English Pewter with Fawn hide interior.

The manual V8 ‘Series 4’ is originally fitted with the revised V580 engine, making this car even rarer as this is the engine used to transform into a Vantage specification. The V580 delivers possibly 375 bhp.

A Dutch, so European, specification ZF 5-speed manual car is a very rare specimen and the car as used in several Bond films.

This low mileage car comes with the original service pouch with stamped service books and has a really complete documentation from day one. This includes the original sales invoice, warranty card, correspondence, brochures, heritage sheet and full ownership history and original invoices from day one.

Ownership history

The car was delivered new to its first owner Mr. Michels in Uithoorn, the Netherlands, on 3 July 1980. He would cherish the car 19 years.

In August 1999, the car was sold to a dealer Lambo-Rijssen and in March 2001, it passed to its second owner in Papendrecht, the Netherlands. In 2003, the Aston Martin was sold again through HAI to its third owner Mr. Langham in Weesp. In May 2024, the car was acquired by its current Dutch owner. As always this great enthusiast of the marque and client of ours gave the car a big service before using it properly. The car then performed faultlessly on a nice trip to the AMOC 90th anniversary celebration weekend in Saalfelden, Austria.

The documentation file is complete with copies of the old registration papers and sales invoices. Price according to the original invoice was an astonishing 186.431,- Dutch Guilders. Only 4 caring owners since new and only 115.000 km from new!
