The original factory build sheet confirms that this DB6 Vantage was supplied new to Mr R. Raymond of London, with its guarantee issued on 16th February 1966. Originally the car was specified with the desirable Vantage engine, triple SU carburettors, chrome wire wheels. Importantly, the registration JUW 6D is also recorded on the build sheet and remains with the car today.

The accompanying factory record provides an unusually detailed account of the DB6’s early life, documenting regular servicing and mechanical work through to May 1968, by which time the car had covered 26,670 miles.

In 2015, R S Williams were entrusted with carrying out a comprehensive full body-off restoration. The car was refinished in Black Pearl and its interior retrimmed in Deep Burgundy hide, creating an exceptionally handsome and distinguished colour combination.

Its mechanical specification was substantially enhanced with the upgrade to the engine to R S Williams 4.7 Litre fast road specification, breathing through triple SU carburettors and paired with a ZF manual gearbox. This carefully considered specification combines the unmistakable character and elegance of the DB6 with the increased performance and usability for which R.S. Williams upgrades are renowned.

Having covered minimal mileage since the restoration was completed, the car has continued to be regularly serviced and maintained by R.S. Williams. Its history file includes a complete record of MOT tests since the restoration, further supporting the car’s limited subsequent use and attentive upkeep. The vehicle had a 9 page feature in Issue 10 of Vantage magazine in Summer 2015.
