One of Alfa Romeo's most beloved decades is the 1970s. Giulia's, Berlina's, Bertone's and of course the Spider: they are all highly regarded classics. Where the first three models were replaced by successors over the years, the Spider was built until mid-1993. The Spider you see here belongs to the last series, called type 4. The appearance of a real classic, but with which in its final form.

At the same time, the Spider 4 is the last Alfa Romeo with rear-wheel drive, until the arrival of the Giulia in 2016, if we leave the 8C and 4C behind. The Spider series IV can be a pleasure to drive, but in practice many cars appear to have had a mediocre past. That is completely different with this beautiful silver-grey convertible. From the first glance it is clear: this Spider with only 56,181 kilometers of experience is in completely new condition. The paint is really '100 points', not a scratch can be found in the deep glossy paint that provides a very fresh look. The entire body is in new condition, also in the places behind the plastic sheet metal such as sills and bumpers. Many Spiders fall for the basket here, but this car, delivered in Spain and only recently imported, passes with flying colors.

The same applies to the interior, from the still tight-feeling and tightly enclosing seats to the dashboard that shows no signs of use. The beige door panels are also like new and if you close the door behind you, it will close very easily. All signs that this Spider is actually as good as it looks at first impression.

The two-litre Nord engine looks like it just came off the production line at Pininfarina in Grugliasco. And that is how the car has been maintained. The mileage of this Spider is already very low, but based on the condition of the car, less than half would have been plausible.
'La Dolce Vita' couldn't be more within reach than with this Italian open two-seater. The pleasure of a classic, the convenience of a youngtimer and the condition of a new car: we don't often come across them like this anymore.
