The final series of the original Alfa spider debuted in 1990 with some modern cosmetic updates, most notably new bumpers and full width rear taillights. For North America, this newer model featured power steering and a driver side airbag. The Veloce trim included leather seats, 15-inch alloy wheels, and air conditioning. 1993 represented the final year of the Alfa Spider sold in North America apart from less than 200 sold as commemorative editions in 1994. Only 1,956 Spiders were produced for 1993.

This Alfa comes from long-term ownership from Nashville, TN. It has been sympathetically serviced and maintained when and where needed and drives well. As with many of these Italian Spiders of this era, this Alfa would benefit from some further mechanical and cosmetic maintenance and would make for an excellent driving touring car. The engine and gearbox are excellent and smooth with great power during acceleration and the typical throaty Alfa exhaust note. A truly iconic sports car, this Alfa is comfortable and dialed in for around-town cruising.
