= Bijzonderheden =

De nodige uren rijden naar de Duitse eigenaar van deze prachtige Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 werd uiteindelijk beloond met een hartelijke ontvangst gevolgd door een aankoop. Zoals u wellicht weet zijn we hierin erg voorzichtig, want we willen alleen ‘de krenten uit de pap”. En dat is zeker gelukt met deze auto.

We wisten dat er nog wat kleine werkzaamheden te doen waren, waaronder de montage van een nieuwe softtop, want we houden er nu eenmaal van de puntjes op i te zetten. En dat is bij deze Spider van bouwjaar 1992 niet zo moeilijk want hij ziet er al voortreffelijk uit van zowel buiten als binnen. Deels te wijten aan de lage kilometerstand van slechts 65.414 natuurlijk, maar ook van liefhebbende, in dit geval Duitse, eigenaren.

De Spider is keurig volgens het boekje bij dealers en Alfa specialisten onderhouden, facturen er bij, etc. Van liefhebbers en (onderhoud gedaan) door liefhebbers. Zo zien we het graag.

Waar er al genoeg Spiders van dit type aan een grondige restauratie toe zijn, is deze weer de spreekwoordelijke uitzondering op de regel, want de goede zorgen en het niet rijden in winterse omstandigheden is de auto zeer duidelijk aan te zien. Geen spatje roest te zien, en ook niet dat er ooit iets aan gelast is of iets dergelijks. Gewoon super origineel waarbij de, aan met name de onderkant, de af fabriek wax goed zijn beschermende werk heeft gedaan. Gewoon een perfecte bodem en onderstel.

Wie vanaf komend voorjaar echt wil genieten van het goede “autoleven”, en het Italiaanse hoog in het vaandel heeft staan, kan niet om een mooie Spider heen. We gaan dan ook geen lang betoog houden waarom we de Spider een geweldige auto vinden. Het feit dat we zelf al 20 jaar eenzelfde in de garage hebben staan, zegt genoeg….

Een prima investering en veel plezier gaan in deze Rosso Alfa bijzonder goed samen. Het zou mooi zijn dat u, als rasechte autoliefhebber, dat wilt gaan beleven.

A couple of hours driving to the German owner of this beautiful Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 was eventually rewarded with a warm welcome followed by a purchase. As you may know, we are very careful about this, because we only want the available. And that certainly succeeded with this car.

We knew there was still some minor work to do, including the installation of a new soft top, because we like to do our work properly And that is not so difficult with this Spider of 1992, because it already looks excellent from both the outside and the inside. Partly due to the low mileage of only 65.414 of course, but also to the good ownership of the German owners.

The Spider has been neatly maintained according to the book at dealers and Alfa specialists, with invoices included, etc. For enthusiasts and (maintenance done) by enthusiasts. That’s how we like to see it.

There are already a lot of Spiders of this type in need of a thorough restoration, this one is the proverbial exception to the rule, because the good care and not driving in winter conditions shows the car front front to rear bumper. Not even the smallest spot of rust is visable, nor that anything has ever been welded or anything like that. Simply super original. The the factory wax, especially on the underside, has done its protective job well. Just a perfect undercarriage.

Anyone who really wants to enjoy the good “car life” of spring and who loves Italian classic cars, cannot ignore a beautiful Spider. We are therefore not going to make a long argument about why we think the Spider is a great car. The fact that we have privately the same one in our the garage for 20 years says it all….

A great investment and a lot of fun goes together very well in this Rosso Alfa. It would be great if you, as a true car enthusiast, would like to experience this.
