In 1983 Alfa Romeo presented a new model of the already loved Spider well-known as the "Duetto". The car is a 3rd series called "Aerodynamics" that had substantial aesthetic changes, such as the adoption of new bumpers, while the "coda tronca" (from the shape of the tail in the back of the car) was modified by a new set of larger rear lights and characterized by a black material spoiler synthetic.
The changes were not only in line with the trends of the 80s, but also functional thanks to an in-depth aerodynamic study by Pininfarina, carried out in the wind tunnel.

The version we propose was placed on the market on 1986, that is a new version of the 2000 with carburettors, called "Quadrifoglio Verde".
The most noticeable updates of the bodywork are: front and rear bumpers that incorporate the aerodynamic bands, of common design with the “side skirts”, and the new 15-inch alloy wheels. All changes which make the car immediately distinguishable.
Changes were also made inside, in fact, the "Quadrifoglio Verde" has a more gritty look, equipped with enveloping seats in lead gray and red stitching, like the carpet on the floor.

The "Quadrifoglio Verde" was produced from 86 to 89 in only 2,692 cars and in only two colors: Alfa Red and Metallic Grey.
