Description

- The 240th example of just 500 Giulia GTA and GTAm models produced
- Offered with less than 1,150 kilometres from new
- 1 of only 20 with the optional €15,000 “Silverstone 1972” livery
- Powered by a 540 hp twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6
- A limited-edition, track-focused model created to commemorate Alfa Romeo’s 110th anniversary

In 2020, Alfa Romeo marked its 110th anniversary by reviving one of the most evocative names in its competition history: GTA. Based on the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the GTA was powered by the same Ferrari-engineered 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6, but output was increased to 540 hp through higher boost pressure and a bespoke Akrapovič exhaust system.

More than a simple power upgrade, the GTA was conceived as a sharper, more focused evolution of the already highly regarded Quadrifoglio. Weight was reduced by approximately 100 kilograms, while widened bodywork, revised suspension geometry, and extensive use of lightweight materials further enhanced its dynamic character.

The even more extreme GTAm brought the Giulia still closer to its motorsport roots. Fitted with just two seats, racing harnesses, Lexan side and rear windows, and a more purposeful interior specification, it represented the most track-focused expression of the modern Giulia. Production of the GTA and GTAm was limited to just 500 examples in total, with the car offered here being number 240.

This 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is finished in the classic shade of Rosso Etna and is further distinguished by the optional “Silverstone 1972” livery, a €15,000 option inspired by the Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Juniors that competed in the European Touring Car Championship. The result is a particularly striking configuration that directly references Alfa Romeo’s rich touring-car heritage.

The car entered the collection of its original owner in July 2022, with delivery handled by Fiat Mirafiori Stellantis &You in Turin, Italy. By May 2024, it had covered just over 800 kilometres, after which it was brought to Germany by its current owner.

Today, this rare Giulia GTAm shows less than 1,150 kilometres. Exceptionally preserved and presented in one of the model’s most desirable specifications, it remains a collector-grade example of one of the most exclusive and performance-focused modern Alfa Romeos.
