Description
Engine Type:
1.6 Liter Inline 4-Cylinder Overhead Camshaft with Twin Weber Carburetors
History:
Alfa Romeo archive records show selling on September 15th, 1965. Purchased by Dorothy and Stephan Hadley of Pasadena, California. They owned the car until 2004 and kept a mileage log recording every refuel and oil change during their 39 years of ownership. Then selling to the second owner Mark Isaac of Beverly Hills in 2004. He undertook a restoration on the car and kept it until 2023. Also continuing the mileage log in the book. Third owner Edie Arrowsmith owns the car until 2026 driving it only 260 miles.
Condition:
One of the nicest examples one could hope to find. Starting with a one owner original car, second owner Mark Isaac completely restores the Alfa Romeo. Bodywork by Pino the legend in Los Angeles. Paint by Bill at Coach Craft. Interior by Canejo Upholstery. Completely restored in every detail. Completed end of 2005. Only 3,000 miles since restoration. Excellent receipts and extensive photographs of the restoration.
Of Note:
Only 1,400 Bertone bodied Giulia Sprint Speciale were built. It was designed by Franco Scaglione and is considered one of the most beautiful Alfa Romeo ever designed and built. This is a two-owner car, has a factory Certificate of Origin. Is matching numbers. Has a documented ownership and mileage. As well as all restoration receipts and photos. Complete with owner’s manual, jack, and tool kit. Now ready for the Concours Circuit or a Historic Rally.
