The ‘Giulia Coupe,’ debuted in 1963, one year after the ‘Berlina.’ Desiged by Giorgetto Giugiaro, who was then chief designer at Bertone. The clean, sleek, and beautiful silhouette of the coupe style is considered Giugiaro's greatest masterpiece of the 1960s, and he would later be hailed as a master designer. The charming expression created by the slightly close-set twin headlights and the deliberate use of steps nose remain highly popular to this day.
Despite its modest 96 hp output, the 1300GT achieved a top speed of 170 km/h thanks to its lightweight 1,020 kg curb weight, achieved by shedding 50 kg from the sedan-bodied Berlina. This made it a car with impressive performance even by the standards of the time.

The single-bar horizontal front grille gives it a bold appearance. The engine feel, as one might imagine from its displacement and short cylinder ratio, is indeed high-revving. Keeping the engine above 3,500 RPM is one of the joys of driving this car. It offers a sense of ‘the fun of driving’ in various ways. The dry inline-four twin-cam engine, paired with the Weber carburettor, produces a sound that resonates pleasantly through all five senses.

This car was officially imported to Japan back in 1968. Still preserving a sticker from that time.
The number of owners are not known but it has been well maintained. While the dashboard area reflects its age, still the seats are firm and provide excellent support for the driver. Alfaholics suspension Kit Fast Road (from Alfaholics page; When combined with either Bilstein or Koni shock absorbers, it radically transforms the handling of the car and the way it turns into corners) is installed, 2-2.5″ lower. Shock absorbers are Koni classic. Wheels GTA style by Alfaholics.
Brake master cylinder replaced last year.
