The Commando Mk III of 1975 is a desirable, finalevolution example of the iconic Norton, representing the definitive development of the model with the addition of electric start and a left-foot gearshift. This bike was acquired by Mr. Joel with distinctive red, white, and blue John Player Norton special-edition bodywork, which accompanies the motorcycle at auction.

This Commando is currently fitted with reproduction bodywork finished in black with gold pinstriping, providing an alternative and equally handsome presentation. The availability of both sets of bodywork adds considerably to the appeal of this machine, offering the collector the flexibility of two distinct appearances.
