Dream on with these 10 wonderful books from Taschen

No other publisher has contributed to the global popularity of art, pop culture, architecture, design and photography like Taschen has in the last four decades. Now the wonderful illustrated books and collectors’ editions are available on Classic Driver…

Without Benedikt Taschen and the eponymous publishing house he founded in Cologne in 1980, neither the contemporary art and design jet set nor the glamorous world of images from Instagram would have been conceivable. And we don’t think that’s an exaggeration. With the books from Taschen, many of us learned what, as cosmopolitan city dwellers on the threshold of the new millennium, what we needed to know about art and design, architecture, fashion, pop culture and photography.

At the same time, Taschen turned printed books, a medium that had repeatedly been badged as dead through the course of digitisation, into collectable objects of desire and passion, which could be admired through the windows of glossy boutiques in the metropolises of the world. What Taschen has published is not just material for dreaming, but popular culture – and it still is today. We’re delighted to announce that the latest illustrated books from Taschen can now be found in the Classic Driver Market. These are our 10 current favourites…
